Myrtle Beach Anyone

Is anybody here going to myrtle beach may 27 weekend its going to be off the hook if so let me know so we can hook my riding club is throwing a parking lot party at our hotel:rock

I think i will heading there. I was thinking of going to daytona, but decided i would save my money and waste it on track days. But myrtle beach should be cool. Its only like 450 miles from me. You are riding down there right? Ricardo

no doubt ill be there unless something comes up.

I was planning to head up there with a couple of guys from the air base here in Charleston. It's not for certain yet, I am still waiting to get my bike from the movers. I also may have to work.:cool:

Hell yeah! :cool:. I plan on another year of fun. I'm looking at being there Thursaday - Monday. If you don't know it's worth it to stay over the extra day.:D Well hopefully, if I can get my bike soon so I can start getting it ready. Ride from Maryland to Myrtle Beach I think you R the Bad Mo Fo. Thats what trucks and trailers are for:lol

My G/F and I will be down there, but not sure yet if the bike will be - we're coming from NY...If I can get a truck, the bike is coming, but for her to drive the car and me on the bike, it's alot of driving. 750 miles each way

My hat is off to you for bringing your girl. Its going to be crazy down there. I can hardly wait i just sent off my reservation and im about to get my pickup rental.:D

if any of you guys come to myrtle beach this year stop by the royal palm hotel in north myrtle and ask for troy somebody will find me i dont know if were bringing the dj equip or not:eek:

I will most likely be there since I live less than an hour from Myrtle Beach and my parents still live there....unless I am forced to work that is......even if I do have to work I don't believe that a little thing like a job could possibly hose the entire weekend for me. :machinegu :butt

fuR1ous. The dates run through memorial day weekend in May. Most everyone leaves on Monday morning but last year I stayed and left Tuesday morning and had a lot of fun. Lot less traffic and lot easier to get around. I'll probably being going down Thur - Tue.

The officia start date is May 23 through May 27 ill be at the royal palm hotel in north myrtle beach:D

True story i seen a guy on one of those old 70's kung fu movie motorcycle/moped bikes with a buetiful chick on the back. Im telling all the girls care about is riding on the back of a bike showing off their assets.:p

Troy I hear what you sayin about that it does not matter what you ride. Because I've seen guys riding straight bullshit and having bad ass chicks on the back of there bikes. I do plan on doing some upgrades once I get my 2002 hopefully we will hook up. I will be staying in the Sandcastle. And I'd like to confirm what these other guys said "LEAVE YOUR LADIES AT HOME!"

Alright i got a plan everybody that goes to myrtle this year lets decide on a place to meet up sometime that weekend and hang out somebody bring a camera so we can show everbody on the forum what they are missing and how we do it over here on the eastcoast:D chicks on the back of your bike is not discourage:thumbup

Its no problem as long as they don't have a problem with it. It won't be many of them there but you do see a few. We all get along though it just about women and bikes

HEY FELLAS IVE BEEN GOING TO MYRTLE FOR FIVE YEARS, AND IT HAS REALLY GOTTEN BORING IN THE LAST YEARS.. TOO MANY COPS, HARRASSMENT, AND NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE.. A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE TAKEN THE FRIENDS, BIKES, AND MONEY TO MIAMI... THAT SPOT IS GOING TO BE OFF THE HOOK THIS YEAR... IM TELLING U MIAMI IS WHERE U WANT TO BE ON MEMORIAL WEEKEND.... Just got off the phone with Ocean Creek and I will be staying there, do you guys know where it is? Nice place?

I heard about Miami being the place to be but its just to far for me. I have to have my bike and hell that would be one long :butt drive and eat up to much vacation. Have fun in Miami. I'll be cleaning up scraps in Myrtle beach.

All, I have been to Myrtle Beach the last 5 years. Things have really gone down hill (Im my opinion!) There are troopers on EVERY cornor, white lines are out! 2 years ago I spent 9 hours to go 5 miles (From the NSCAR resturant to Ocean Creek) because of traffic!! Yes the women are off the hook! Stay off the main drag. Take the 40X (something) out of Myrtle Beach, take 90 east, then 18 south. Getting there from the North End is less traffic!! Lesson hard learned. Bikes overheat often. Speaking of Ocean Creek.... Nice Place. You cannot take your bike up into the Resort but they do have 24 X 7 Security. Nice private beach, tennis courts, indoor/outdoor pool, resturant. Most resturants close this weekend because of the traffic. They have a Country Kettle at the entrance, and BearCreek Landing is across the street (House Of Blues and some other resturants) so if traffic gets bad, walk! Last but not lease (and this is just me, not for argument) BBW is just called Black Bike Week. EVERYONE is there (white, black, and inbetween) The "are crackers allowed" was the most racist statment I have heard here!! Everything I done in my life had some racist people or tone EXCEPT riding my motorcycle!! IVE NEVER HAD ANYONE CALL ME THE "N" WORD with my bike friends. all that ever mattered was that I had a bike or that I rode!! We should keep this in mind as we address people! Just my thoughts...

I felt the same way as you Dsims7 but I just did not know how to address it and did not want draw to much attention but now I'll say a little something. I don't choose to use slurrs like that because I don't care to be addressed with slurrs of that sort. I know that I get along with all and enjoy chilling with everybody not matter what color. Does not matter who you are, if you: have something interesting to talk about, like to drink a few beers, ride bikes(any kind), or a you are a good looking woman, we can chill :rock not trying to flame anyone. Anyway..... I know Myrtle beach will be fun.
