well, we got in last night, dragging a$$:butt . the trip was nothing like i expected, it was better:thumbup . rolling down there from flat straight indiana, i had a blast on the turns, the gap is awesome, i wish i had more time to meet and hang out with everyone, " next year".. pete, and everyone involved with the food, you spoiled me. i dont wanna cook for myself anymore:dunno . the trip needs to be longer next year, 4 days 4 me was not enuff !! i know i made new friends, and seen some riders that i can only try to keep up with, there was nothing but good attitudes down there and it stinks comming home. at least i have something positive to look forward to next year, and i know now that i need a cabin at the top of the hill. !! thanks everyone for making my first trip to the dragon one awesome experience. The week is so much better up there. Dude I was so tired every night I don't know how I stayed up. I rode hard everyday for 6 days and then stayed up half the night.:lol I was feeling it thru yesterday and still some today but it is getting better. I think we will shoot of the the same week next year and maybe plan for the whole week because we had a lot of people there the whole week this year anyway. And we always want to make it better so Next year will be even better than this year!!

I'm with you Scott. :iamwithst Glad I took this week off too. Man, I was beat when I got in late Sunday night. I drove non stop the 12 hours there and back. Never really slept too good while I was there. I've made up for that these last two days. It's nice to sleep in to 7 or 8am. Next year I'll be there the whole week. Maybe, even get there on a Saturday or Sunday and spend a week and a few days. Chad, I'm open for any chores that need to be done. :fact Since I always got up early I could be the clean up person. I could go out in the mornings and spend some time cleaning up the food and party areas outside. Just a thought!!! Put me down for something. Food, drinks, clean up or what ever. :fact Randy

I know it was said that one person could be resp. for one nights food. I thought that sounded better.

I know it was said that one person could be resp. for one nights food. I thought that sounded better. Yeah, that would be a good idea. We could still have one person get all the food money and then he could distribute the funds to each person to buy for each night. It will definately have to be spread out more next year especially if we decide to do it for a whole week. another idea is to see if Fontana can provide us food each night and maybe even breakfast. If that is not to expensive then we might could save a lot of trouble and do that. Different options to look at.

SWALDEN, I'll be looking for you before next years convention in hopes than we can possibly ride down and back together.....I live right off of I65 exit 139.....20 or so mile N of Indy and approx. 460 miles from Robbinsville. I had been planing on making the ride. A change in job schedule prevented me from making what sounds like a great time.

I am going to try and call Fontana next week to set up the dates for next year. I will let ya'll know after I do. I have to tell you though, the magnolias on the hill on shuckstack will be few and far between though. I will have one, shane will have one, and depending on what we do with the food, whoever does it will have one too. I think that leaves just one magnolia up there left. No mind you, there are several magnolias very close and also other types of cabins on shuckstack road. I will get ya'll the info very soon though. Glad to hear everyone is excited already about next year:thumbup Maybe we can get around 150 actual attendees next year:dunno
