It was a rainy day today. I rode to school, and on the way. Keeping a steady 70 -75 mph. I noticed that the bike somehow was kinda losing power for a sec, then it regained power. I thought it was going to stop. It did this maybe 3 more times on the way there. It never stopped. What could be wrong? What i am thinking is that perhaps my air filter could be dirty? Or perhaps my battery needs servicing? I have riden the bike daily without any problems, i dont want a serious brakedown. Anyone know what could be the prob?

OK just a shot in the dark here but you are saying you have had no problems until today adn it was raining, right? Maybe the back tire was loosing traction and then hooking back up. Try to ride it when it is dry and see if the problem happens again

How about water getting somewhere it's not supposed to be and shorting something out.

I don't know what kind of airfilter you have but I have heard that the cheapo paper filters swell when they get wet.

ive had this before on the r1 & on my zxr750.
the prob is usually water or dampness around the coils.
if the bike is fine on a nice dry day when you are caning it, then its okay!!
