I'm just wondering if this will be a "waste of money"...?

And it says "10 bhp gain" .. how much "hp" is that?

I'd forget about the ram air. A buddy of mine put ram air on his R1 (modified frame and all). After weeks of fiddling, getting help when we gave up, consulting QB Carbon about the product and god forbid even going to the dealer, it carbureted like garbage compared to the stock airbox. Waste of his money. Waste of my time

well,i got the setup your describing minus the jetkit(i"m sure its worthless anyways).

the box alone is good for much more than 10hp but at midrange(due to air volume)and as far as the topend hp goes,well,there"s no way to check it out.

i"ve worked(by myself,learning as i go)about 2 years on/off on the jetting and its near perfection now.
but i got special one-off needles in there,so...
