I want something protective I can wear for local rides without putting on my overpants or riding pants. I've seen draggin jeans and the icon jeans... Does anyone know of anything else?

Bought the Draggin Jeans black cargo pants - excellent fit/finish and a great feeling 'bike pants. Feels like you only have normal pants, but you know there is the rear/hip/knee protection there in case you need it. You can get armour to put in the knees if you want, also. Very comfy. Pockets are wide opening and shallow for gloved hands, too. Great product, IMHO. Not meant for impact, just the slide.
