Has anybody tried the "Taste of Racing" at Pacific Raceways in Kent, formerly Seattle International Raceway (SIR)? I did it in August and man was it a blast! The next one is September 29 around noon. For those who have not heard about it, you can take your stock street bike, no taping, wiring, or removal of any mirrors or lights needed, for $20 bucks on the track for about 20 minutes. Thats about 5 laps worth. There are club racers that lead you around the track and you can pretty much go as fast as you want. There is an 8 dollar entrance fee to view the races you have to pay to get in. Sure its not as long as a track day, but not bad for $28 bucks. I heard they have these on most, if not all Sunday race days at Pacific Raceways.
