On Sunday, October 6 there will be another Super Sunday at the Marcus Dairy. Vendors, TONS of bikes, like 5000+ easy. After alittle time at the dairy we are going to go for a ride up to Bear Mt. We will meet at Marcus Dairy in the morning, between 8:00 - 10:00.

To get to the Marcus Dairy, Take i-84 east into CT and get off exit 3 which brings you on to Rt7. Get off the second exit and make a right at the end of the ramp. It's on the left about 1/2 mile down.

Anyone that wants to come along is more than welcome. This will be a knee up ride, and we are going to take it very easy as there will be a very large police presense in the area that day.

Thanks,
Ray

Respond here or e-mail me if you are interested.

5000+ bikes? Or did you make a typo and you meant 500+ bikes.

Either way, I'm definitely in. Me and my buddy live in MA (Westborough) so we'll trailer our bikes down. It's a 2 1/2 hour ride from where we live.

Is there a website with pictures of past meets there?

Are cruisers (Harley) welcome to this meet, or is it just sportbikes? A few guys from work are interested in going and they all own cruiser type bikes.

I think 5000 bikes is a seriously low count. I've heard numbers on Super Sundays as much as the ten thousands. And yes all types of riders and bikes go up there to meet. Not as crazy as Daytona though.

It is very fun. They have a side by side dyno on a semi and you can race you freind in a 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile they give you hp numbers its pretty cool. Dr dyno is there, I usually go every one early in the morning have breakfast and then walk around check out the show bikes. Last year they had this guy riding wheelies on his little pocket bike. I won't see you guys up there this time due to the matter that my bike is in a few pieces. Have fun and be safe. P.S. there is a shit load of cops there but they are generaly cool. Check out the Boss Hoss tent some crazy ass bikes in there. Bikes with LT1 Corvette motors in them!

OK, who went today? I was there. Parked up by the Bank. Silver R1 right next to a Yellow VMax.

Anyone Else?

I did see a bunch of R1's there? Anyone here have a Red/White with the Undertail that was there? I saw that one right next to Mr. Dyno.

:hellobye I was there with my girl. Parked in the mall parking lot too. I was just pulling in when i saw another silver R1 leaving 9not sure if it was anyone from here) so i took his parking spot (parking was a bitch)! Then around 3-4 oclock i was sitting on the grass with my girl and saw another silver R1 coming into the mall parking lot.

Over all I wasnt too impressed with this meet...seems like it was totally catering to Harleys, was hoping id get to see more sport bikes.:rock

I kinda stumbled onto this thread as I was browsing the site and I wanted to put my 2 cents in. Just so everyone knows I run the show at the Dairy and I ride a Duc 748s and I love sportbikes.

It is true that a large portion of the vendors on Cycle Sunday (new name since 4/02) are Cruiser/Harley oriented. But we have been trying very hard to change this with only limited success. There are not a lot of vendors out there that cater to sportbikes and also vend at shows. Most shops that sell sportbikes don't carry the inventory or have the desire or ability to pack up their store on Sat pm and bring it down to the Dairy. The vendors who do cater to sportbikes are usually hardcore race suppliers and are always at a race week end doing track support instead of at our show.

If anyone has any suggestions we would love to hear them. I would like nothing more than to put on a more balanced show. On the up side we had BrocKton Motorsports selling Arai, several Joe Rocket dealers, Miline leather jackets(GP Race Rep product), VAS who sells AGV helmets, D&L with First Gear, a Vanson dealer, and the best beef jerky money can buy.

Sorry about the long post, now if I can just get Dainese to sposor the show (and throw in a complimentary Pro Tech suit).

Regards, Sean.

Thanks dude we love it. It has a bigger turn out then Ct bike week and most shows going on. Vendors would be nice. Sport bike just dont do too many shows. We thank you it most cost a lot of time and money to put on a show so big. Keep up the good work. :thumbup

Dave,

Thanks for the encouragement and I am glad you like the show. It does take a lot of time, energy and money to put the show together but when things go well it is all worth it. This year we have raised and will be donating over $50,000 for local charities.

Thanks again, Sean
