bridogr1 02-13-2002, 01:37 PM I am in the philly area. I am trying to plan a motorcycle ride in September for my motorcycle club. We can ride for about 3 hours to our destination. Then we like to spend the day or afternoon there, then turn around and ride back. Anyone know of some nice riding roads?????? Or a destination I should head to???????
I would do a 2 or 3 day trip to the blue ridge parkway again - an AWESOME road, great scenery;)

I am in south nj near phili also. I would also like to hook up with some other R1 riders and
head down to the beach(LBI) this spring & summer.I am into going to Bear Mountain when the
weather breaks.I also know some good back roads for some high speed runs, not much twisties
around here unless we go pretty deep into PA.Email me if your planning anything soon.I have a
few friends that ride but it tough to hook up.Hope to meet you guys in the near future.

Keep my posted on whatever runs you plan (club or otherwise) and im in.
Pocono area has some back roads that are nice. I remember them from the SuzukiCycleFest end of August every year.
Virginia (South of DC) in the Manassa Area used to have some nice back roads but im sure they have built that area up.
I will look around also!!

R1@150@alltimes 03-13-2002, 02:59 PM Dont' they have a track up there by the Pocono's, remember some1 say'n something about that!!! Any1 know 4 sure?
Pocono International Raceway is there.. Excellent facility, and even better if you get to ride the F-USA course.
I went to Bear Mtn at the end of last season. It was an 8 hour drive to get there, and I will be doing it again. The roads were awesome, as well as the scenery.

Is anyone from Baltimore, Md. or close to it.
bridogr1 03-27-2002, 05:49 PM I am from philly but we ride down to baltimore pretty often. Also I know a couple motorcycle clubs in MD. When the weather gets a little nicer we should get together and go for a ride. You can show me some back roads in baltimore.
