I decided to see if I could get better rear view than the stock mirrors provided. So, I decided to order a set of Motrax Bar End Mirrors (http://www.indysuperbike.com/customer/product.php?productid=113888) .

I will get some pictures of them installed on my '05 Raven R1 posted later.
The installation was a breeze. In order to get them mounted correctly:
1. Leave the stock bar end on
2. Remove the bolt that holds the stock bar ends.
3. Remove widening nut and 2 sleeves that come with the Motrax Mirrors
4. Turn the widening nut around and put it back on all the way
5. Screw mirrors into clip-ons through bar ends
This took all of about 15 minutes.
Now for the review:
I've been riding with them for a couple of days now.
Pros:
I've noticed that they do not vibrate at all . . at any speed.
Excellent rear view, completely unobstructed.
Cons:
Must take your eyes further off the road ahead than with the stockers.
For the long legged, the mirrors will hit your knees if you turn the bars to the stops.
:scared
This second con caught me off gaurd while turning into the underground parking at work the first time. Since then, I have made the adjustment of sticking my knee out prior to the stop.
Right now, I'm still leaning towards putting the stock mirrors back on. I'm going to give them another week or so before I do. I really like how much less obstructed the rear view is and how they don't vibrate at all. The stockers are pretty useless for seeing anything clearly at freeway speeds.
