There are all sorts of materials and manufacturers.

Just installed uppers, lowers, and fork protectors from them. They're the benchmark in the industry IMO. IndyGreg 03-31-2006, 10:45 AM Yes these are the best engineered on the market. If you live in the UK and have them on your bike there is an insurance company that offers a discount on your insurance premium if that tells you anything.
