I originally bought the ChatterBox HJC-2002 alarm and it was a piece of shit    I returned that piece of shit twice and purchased a Gorilla ultra-compact Cycle Alarm Part#5007. I installed this one in the parking lot of the company I purchased it at (parts411.com). All you have to do is connect the two red and black wires to the battery, pull the fuse, re-insert the fuse and you are done. The alarm worked perfect and only took me about five minutes to install. I brought the alarm home, connected the wires, set the tilt sensor and "bam" I'm done. Opinion: This is an easy alarm to install, all the hardware is provided and had no problem with it at all. I would highly recommend this alarm. Note: It does not have an LED and the lights do not blink. I don't care if it does not have an LED - All that will do is tell the thief that you have an alarm and he must deactivate it before stealing your bike. Jim out I tried to reply twice and nothing   It cost 68.00 and it is awesome. I leave it on all the time when it is parked in the garage. I highly recommend it.

I do like the flashing lights though.

i have this alarm as well. install was under 30 mins, it works pretty nicely, decently loud. my only complaint is the tilt sensor is kinda hokey.. sometimes it seems to work, sometimes not. but, for $70.. i don't expect NASA precision. i bought it for approx $70 shipped from parts411.com (1-877-484-4860).

Still waiting on delivery. I called and they said that my order was on hold until the Pit Bull front stand came in. I just thought of something. Does the tilt sensor work if you put it up on a rear stand like a Pit Bull? Or does it only work if you use your side stand? At home I always use my rear stand.

Dude, if you have it on a stand ... turn on the alarm and if you or anyone screws with it ....... it goes off. You will be very happy with it ...... I use mine all the time and it is great. The tilt sensor only works when it is on the kick stand.

:D :D :D Just got my alarm system and installed it. So easy to install. But I didn't install the light. Where did you guys put your alarm at? I value my glove compartment space but it seems like that's the only place for it to be.

Did anyone get the optional garage door interface with your Gorilla alarm system?
