R1 Convention Hats

I previously offered to donate 2 dozen hats for prizes/giveaways at the Convention; it looks like it will now be 50 hats. There's 2 possibilities on how to do the hats: 1. ALL 50 hats will be natural color w/Dark Gray R1 logos. The logo will be outlined in red, blue, black, silver, or yellow to match the bike colors. The words "2006 CONVENTION" will be in the same color as the outline. On the back of the cap will be the "R1-Forum.com" logo in blue only. (The pictures below are of a hat for a Red R1. This cap has a hole in the back so the "R1-Forum.com" is above the hole. The real hats will be Flexfit hats with no hole in the back and the "R1-Forum.com" will be along the bottom.) --OR-- 2. There will be 10 each of 5 different colors: Red, Blue, Gray, Black, and Yellow (to match the bike colors). The R1 logo and "2006 CONVENTION" on the front will match the color of the logo and printing on the respective bike color. For example: Red hat will have a Black R-1 logo w/red outline and a white "2006 CONVENTION". The "R1-Forum.com" on the back will be white also. Here's a sample hat for option #1:

You'll have to get Shane to give the nod on that: 1. He sells hats at tobefast.com. 2. I've got the R1-Forum.com logo on the back of the hat. I'm sure there's more reasons but he'll have to make the call. :beer

Would some of the fitted hats that stretch be possible to use? R1buda made us some for the Venom squadron a while be using those and I really like them..I forget the brand name though.

I think these will be really cool prizes. I say you make up a bunch to give away and those who don't win one can buy some afterwards...I don't think shane will have a problem with that. I'd be down for picking one up for 20 bucks...but ya, i think you should only sell them at the Gap...so those that are there can pick them up...spose if you wanted, you could sell them on here with shane...but the novelty of it being for the Gap would be lost.

Fellas...you might want to Re-read the post......they will be For Sale At The GAP... this is just for people who will be attending the convention...
