FOOD at the GAP ** READ **

It's getting close to GAP Convention TIME ! Me and Chad talked about the ENTIRE food situation and how to be fair to everyone involved when it comes to the FOOD each night and we came up with this. The cost of the FOOD and drinks for each person everynight is $40 for the entire week. If you've not attended the convention in the past there is some pretty incredible meals each night and alot of hard work GOES into it all. Just the transporting of FOOD and drinks alone for 60 people is a CRAZY task but NO worries its all good the TARGET of this post is to get everyone focussed to PAY UP !!!!!! Every year we get people that just show up or have friends, girls friends etc.. with them that mention not knowing about the FOOD and asking if they can join in etc.. or say that there "GIRL" didn't know can she get a plate things like that so PLEASE PLAN AHEAD cause it's not going to happen this year and we aren't gonna run outta GRUB because of it.... hahahaha.... We have some extra McCoy Motorsports lanyards at the shop and I'm going to get the final list the week before we leave and print out small lamenated cards with names for everyone to have on them when they are eating. That way there is NO one with hurt feeling over anything. If you don't have one you don't EAT... I'd like to thank everyone who is involved in the COOKING..! Excellent idea Shane. I didn't mind spending the money last year or this year for the food because it was a hell of a great deal, but I was a bit pissed that some people just came and ate and drank and didn't even offer to pay or even clean up their mess.

I will be paying and adding myself +1 to the list as soon as I get my work to give me the final ok.

Change of plans for the food for the convention. Our cook has had something come up so I am having to find another plan for the dinners each night. I talked to Fontana Village and they are going to handle this for us this year. They will cook the food and we will pick it up each night. We are going to start with simple things early in the week like sandwiches and hot dogs and hamburgers. Then maybe progress into some nicer dinners by thursday and friday. I am working on someone donating the funds to cover the Steak dinner for saturday night as we speak. If that works out the $40 per person will still cover all the food and actually get you food every night of the convention, monday-saturday. If for some reason I cannot get the saturday dinner donated I may have to collect a little bit more money from everyone...but I am hoping not to do so. So, PLEASE get me your food money in ASAP!!! This is when everyone hangs out each night and all the bsing goes on. You will spend more money and time doing your own food if than going this route. You will have to have a lanyard with your name on it to be able to eat:fact Thanks, chad
