I'm probably the LAST person who should be making this thread since this will be my first Gap trip, but I figured it would be a good thing to have for first-timers like me. So, without too much silliness, how about a checklist of things you should NOT forget to bring along to the convention? I'm starting the list with items that range from the obvious to the obscure, so feel free to add anything. Essentials ======= Lots of Clothes (gonna be hot and possibly rainy) Money Umbrella Bug repellant Camera ID / License Proof of insurance/registration Motorcycle-Related ============= wipes / spray for cleaning your visor tool kit extra tie-down straps replacement visors (tinted, clear, whatever) spare key cable-ties (you never know) duct tape electrical tape WD-40 Recreational ========= frisbee football baseball

Essentials ======= Lots of Clothes (gonna be hot and possibly rainy) Money Umbrella Bug repellant Camera ID / License Proof of insurance/registration Medications {Prescription}. Plenty of Advil or Tylenol Sunglasses for sure. Sunscreen if your doing the Whitewater raft trip. Red Bull/Amp or similar energy drinks {Yamaha will be providing some}. Extra pillows. Extra ass wipin' paper. Something that helps me out is "motion sickness medication". Ok, so we don't have any mountians with curves here in Florida. I'll be the first to tell you that Motion Sickness will ruin your day of riding. Cell phone. Although, it may not work in all areas around Fontana. Some extra chairs with your name written on them some place to I.D. them when you load up. Health insurance card just in case you get hurt and need to go to a local hospital. Motorcycle-Related ============= wipes / spray for cleaning your visor tool kit extra tie-down straps replacement visors (tinted, clear, whatever) spare key cable-ties (you never know) duct tape electrical tape WD-40 Bike cover. Helmets, back up if you have one. Pop up canopy to cover bikes. Front/Rear stands. Chain lube. Leathers/Boots and Gloves. Tank bag or Backpack. Gas cans to fill up. This is good if your going through Georgia since they have cheaper priced fuel. Tire gauge and 12 volt air compressor. Plexus. A small wet sponge in a baggie under the seat makes a great tool at quick rest stops to clean your visor. Last year I had everyone using mine. Quart of engine oil. Assortment of bike fuses. Ear plugs. They will make you less tired at the end of the day. Road maps of the area. Recreational ========= frisbee football baseball Beer :beer Portable DVD player Fire Works.
