Is this U-lock and Big chain really worth it?

I think this would be pretty hard to break.. Have any of you guys owned one of this??

Check out this one too I think I will buy both plus a disc alarm that is loud. I just want to use it when I do those quick 10 min. stops at a store or something.. I still think that 15 pounds is a bit to heavy to take it around everywhere in my backpack. The top one is a bit heavy too. Well anyways what do You guys think?

i have the same chain, only it is by master lock. i would get the lock for the chain, by american lock... it looks like a large silver hockey puck. i used to be a locksmith, and there is a way to defeat any chain or lock...the sad fact is, if a thief knows what he is doing, and wants your bike, he will get it. the chain and lock is a great deterrent for most thieves.... providing you always use them, if your bike is out of sight for more than ten minutes.
