I'm going to order a new tail section today. I am curious as to which lights to order. Are the Diamond lights worth the extra $160? I have never seen them in person so I don't know. Please let me know your opinions.

I have a 2000 Red R1 and I have the Dussault tail with the black diamond lights. I love the way they look. Right now I don't have a very good pic of them. If you send me an email, I should have a couple good pics in the next few days. I will send them to you.

I have a red '00 R1 with a Dussault undertail and the silver Diamond light LEDs. All I can say is...awesome. Also, as Robert will tell you, the Diamond lights are much brighter than the default LED lights, and have much better off axis visibility. So, IMO, yes, well worth the money. I also have the two color flushmounts. I took pics today, but I haven't used up the roll of film yet. I'll post them ASAP, once they are developed. Will be getting an S602Z dig camera when they become available in June.

I have the regular LED's not the Libertek ones that are much more expensive. I have the clear lenses so it looks good when the bike is off. When running they of cousre glow red. I find the lights just as bright as stock.

I opted out of flushmounts for the front since they are not very noticable by oncoming traffic.

I would save the 160.00 US (around 250.00+ CDN) and get yourself something else.
