So I have everything ready to go but I can not get my computer to recognize the PCIII-USB . I have power via the 9 volt batttery . Everything else as normal . Anyone have any suggestions ? Thank you !:)

I've had some issues like this, check:

-That the PCIII is actually powered up
-Both ends of the plug are securely plugged in
-Try turning on the PCIII before opening the software

If all else fails, use a new 9V... even if it appears to power up the PCIII.

Also, if you are doing this just to set up the quickshifter you should just be able to plug it in and have it work. If I remember the only thing you can set is the stall time via the software. Hope this helps.

BKR1:
What version of "PCShiftKillEnable" are you attempting to access the "Enable/Disable" Quickshifter feature? DynoJet produced two versions, one for pre 2.x firmware and one for post 2.04 firmware. If you can't find the version, check the file size, the first revision is 913KB; the second revision is 1,044KB. Lastly, check your PCIIIusb's firmware version and report back.

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies as I have still not figured this out . CCS I tried everything you mentioned except one and that is turning on the PCIII before loading the software , I will give that a shot . Vpreatr I will look into what you are saying this evening but as a computer rookie I may have some trouble . I will pm you if so and see if you can help me . Thanks again !

On my bike, if the kill switch on at the throttle lever is turned off the PSIII will not react when the key is turned on. Worth a look ?
