My riding buddy has several R1 parts for sale but does not have a computer so I am listing them for him.

He has a swing arm, shock and linkage and chain from a 2000 R1. Mint shape no damage etc etc. He wants $250 but make offers

Also a set of Yoshimura cams for the R1. About 400 miles. Includes adjustable sprockets, shims instructions all like new. About $650-750 new I am told. He wants $450. I saw them and they look perfect too. He sold the bike and took the cams out before he sold it.

A carbon fiber look front fender in perfect condition.

2- Stock front Rotors. He had put aftermarket wave rotors on it. I think he is asking $175 here for BOTH.

And lastly the rear caliper, master cylinder and fluid resivor and bracket for the caliper. Basically the entire rear brake system. Make offer.

I have photos and can email them so just ask if interested.

Thanks

may I ask how much of a difference these cams make to the bike? how many extra HP? where in the register etc

Cams in an r1 will typically get you 4-6 hp depending on your mods. If you remove the EXUP and replace with a full exhaust the gains are higher.

Where the power comes in the rev range is strictly a function of how you time the cams. Lower Lobe centers with little to no overlap = bigger torque. Higher lobe centers with lots of overlap= hp at the top end but less torque in the middle. Everything is a compromise. You set the cams up for the range you want to ride in most.

Anyone installing cams should know all about LC and overlap and PV clearances. If they dont, then dont let them install your cams
