i hv just booked r1 07 blue...i m interested in replacing the exhaust with termi or two bros ...can u people help me out..i need the louder of them..

Nobody has heard both of them yet people are just starting to get delivery of their bikes.

It Doesn't Matter Of Which Year The R1 Is.....if You Have Put On The Termignoni Or The Two Brothers I Just Need To Know The Performance N Sound.............

i asked the same question as you before i bought my first exhaust. i tried youtube.com and it has your answer. do a search in there for r1 exhaust or any other variation of that and you will get some sound video's.

my termis sound good, but how am i compare it to another exhaust w/o having them as well????:1pok:

as far as performance, well they're only slip ons...

as a side note, i had a difficult time aligning the exhaust so that they look perfect with respect to the under tail cut outs. it took a while, but they align nicely.

I have 2 brothers on my 05 R1 and I love them. I get compliments all the time on how good they sound.

I like Two brothers! They sound and look awsome.:thumbup

My friend has Termis, and they sound absolutely mean!
Quality is good, but the prizetag is awfull :scared

But as the WSB-boys are using them, that´s good enough for me....:rock

Haven´t seen the TwoBros though, so hard to compare.

I swear by Leo Vince. Right now Im using the Stainless system with the Carbon cans. I race mine so I was more interested in performance than looks, but I would put the Leo up against any exhaust out there for quality and looks-and then there's that Leo sound. I've been told my bike sounds like a fighter jet coming up the mountain. It really does have a sound unique to Leo Vince. It's not too loud at an idle, but once you get on it, it is bad ass.

Termignoni has the upper hand in quality and fit and finish of the 2Bros. Never heard a comparison, but I would go Termi.

I love my 2 Brothers. I've had strangers tell me my bike sounds awesome 30+ times. I've got the X-metal cans with the magnisium castings. You can hold the exhaust a minute after killing the motor. It's cooool.

I think its the most hidious exhaust that was created.....Plus the fact its way overpriced....

I had termignoni on my 02 and as far as fit well its a slipon and they leak .... finish they look nice but not high enough for a high mount ..... sound wise well it sounds ok but not loud enough .... if performance is what your going for in a slipon it doesnt matter pretty much all the same but if your going full system then I would probable say termignoni as Yamaha has a very extensive relationship with termignoni ....

xtreme...man those are awful..... but Laser Hotcam pipes are oké.

I like my Termignoni's....they look great, sound pretty mean and have a exclusive image. Two Brothers are pretty good too, I must say.

Akrapovic is oké too...but every one has them (here in europe). And they look a bit "boring" (they don't have that nice shape the Termi's and Two Brothers have).

If You really want some noise....go for a set of D&D or take a set of BOS pipes (GP1) with a db-maker.
