I'm having trouble with my 99 R1 cluster. Every now and then the fuel light comes on, even when I have just filled the tank and the oil symbol flashes and the warning light comes on. I have checked the oil and the level is ok. It doesnt happen all the time. Please help

The two problems could both be caused by dirty or corroded connectors in the loom, perhaps even where the cluster is connected. Follow the loom from rear of cluster and work backward towards the offending senders, checking each connector is clean and apply dielectric/ silicone grease. Alternatively the fuel level sender could be duff. Finally, the oil level sender is prone to be super fussy and it could be that raising the oil level to max in sightglass will prevent it coming on.
