Help!

:rant Bike wont start.(05 R1) when i turn the key, the headlight does not turn on, but everything else is on....and when i try and start it, there is like a buzz sound. Any ideas of whats wrong?

i don't have experience in this....but wouldn't you think that the battery is near dead? the headlights don't come on till after the bike is started and the dash lights may come on..but how much juice do they take? push start it, or put a charger on it. if charging the battery doesn't work..then it could be your starter or the connection to the starter. my $.02, diabloo-->

yes the battery is dying. i have had the same problem. turn on the bike, get at the top of a sloped area, put bike in first gear, start moving your legs to get that bike moving as fast as possible, and let the clutch out. once the bike is started take her out for a long deserving ride and the battery will recharge. make sure you dont let it sit to long since your battery will not hold the charge as long as it used to. or just go buy a new one!
