Have any of you guys installed a flow commander on a 2001 R1?
Was it easy to install?
Would you reccomend it to others?

I have one on my 99 R1 and love it! It's not too bad to install, maybe 1.5 hrs. Martin can tell you all about it or you can E-mail Steve with any questions: sk@performance-design.net
Good guy and won't BS you or try to sell you something you don't need.

99 R1 dionw 12-20-2006, 06:57 PM Thanks guys!!! pilam 12-28-2006, 06:02 PM whats a flow commander? clarythedrill 12-29-2006, 11:10 AM its a carb tuning device basically. you pull your air jets out of the carbs, and install tubes that run from your carbs into your air box into a small aluminum device that meters air for your carbs. worth every penny it costs. your carbs need to be jetted correctly to begin with before using this device. it allows fine tuning without having to remove your carbs to make small jetting/clip changes. pilam 12-31-2006, 05:25 PM sweet might have to look into that | |
