04' wheel on an 03'

Hey guys, I was T-boned by a car in July, and now I'm in the process of rebuilding the bike to be put on the track. I'm putting an 06' front end on it (for the radial calipers and master cylinder) and I know I'll have to get an 06' front wheel because of the different brake disc sizes. Now, as for the rear, I want to replace the rear, for aesthetics and to get rid of the chrome wheel on there presently. My question is, will an 06 rear wheel fit on an 03' swingarm. More specifically, will the drive sprocket hub and brake disc from my existing 03' rim bolt right on to the 06' rim, or should I get a whole complete 06' rim? Any input is appreciated, unless of course you're going to give me some rediculous answer like: "just get marchenisi's", then just don't bother, because I'm really anxious to get my R1 back together and I would like some help before I just go buying parts.

I did the same thing. Back wheel mounts right up. I used the hand brake lever and master cylinder from the 06, not sure if the diameter of the piston on the MC was the same on the 03 bike, as I didn't even try to use 03 lever with 06 brakes, but its got a different lever-travel adjuster (06 is a black plastic knob, 03 is a metal dial).
