hey, how do you adjust the float valve? i have a 01' that has fuel in the oil. it reeks of fuel when it runs. i have lost 10 mpg also. the shop/dealer (K C powersports) in huntsville, al says it is because when i brought it in it was running on 2 cyl and now it will use more gas because they it runs on 4 now. the bike has 30,000+. it was getting 160 to a tank when i brought it to them.:machinegu :boom

Rick, U must be getting desperate from number of posts, I replied in one of your others.
Unless someone has been messing with float levels the best solution for a leaky float valve is replacement as they are non adjustable.

Rick,
To summarise your problem is caused by:
Stuck float(s) (Unlikely IMHO)
Incorrect float level(s) - Adjust
Leaky/worn float valve(s) - Replace.
Hope you get to the bottom of it.:thumbup
