99 R1 wiring problem, please help?

hi, i was told you guys can help, i have a 99 R1 in a buggy (hillclimb special) need help with finding the start button wires & how to bypass all sorts of other stuff. I have a complete loom but no dash or handle bar switch assys main problem i have is just trying to start the thing up help please? cheers Matt

Yeah Bello, i got that one & another one & they both show the same (or similar) diagram,,, but i still can"t work out the start button wires as both the diagrams show the start button needing to have a black wire in, & a black wire out,,, it just doesn"t add up,,,especially when both diagrams show this "Optional" ->"CycleLock" thing that just simply doesn"t exist on my loom. & to add to matters,,, for some reason i"m now getting the fuel pum turning itself on as soon as i connect the battery??? seems like the ign switch is stuck on when it"s off. crickey what a mess up of an idea of a loom Help!!!!!!! :-)
