Ok i just did the AIS removal to my 02 r1 and my bike won't start up!! i first did the taping of the hole and putting bolts in like some of the other threads say to do and my bike would't start. so i the ordered the plugs from Graves and put those in thinking i wasn't getting any compression and my bike still wont start have any of you ran in to this problem before???

need more info.
Is the bike turning over at all? How much of a teardown did you do? everything including gas tank? Just fairings and radiator? Do any other mods while you were getting rid of the AIS?

no codes, the motor turns but won't fire up. i modified the air box also. so i took the uper and lower farings off, radiator and gas tank off as well

I would go back and check all the connections under the tank. Make sure the fuel pump is coming on like bean_8044 suggested. There are 2 electrical plugs under the tank plus the fuel line.
