Fan doesn't go on, what is normal temp

I noticed that in the city my bike tended to overheat, I checked and noticed that the fan wasn't going on, the first thing I checked were the fuses and I blew them both, I replaced them and still have not seen the fan go on. I ran the bike in idle for 10 minutes till the temp hit 200 and still the fan didn't go on. Please help, when should the fan go on, I rechecked the fuses. Also what is the normal temp the bike should be at, I'm at 167 at normal riding. Jeff jeffwoo@cox.net

When riding down the highway my temp runs 168,So 167 sounds fine. I think the fan doesnt kick on until 210 or 212.

mine kicks on at 217F and shuts off at 205F, avg temp in 6th gear is about 167F

check the fuses again

My '05 comes on at 219*F.

mine comes on at 216 everytime... though i wish i could lower that a bit

according to my 07 user manual (not to sure how different the 04s are) if you are between the temp.s of 104-242*F you are perfectly fine and have nothing to worry about

JJWOO says his normal riding is 167 thats no were near myn any help/advice guys would be great!

My '06 kicks on at either 219 orr 221...forget which, but normally takes it down to about 210 or so before kicking back off.
