Headlight malfunction

I have an 05 R1 I was riding down the express way the other night and my headlights went out and then came back on. The lights did this on high beam and low beam. All other electrical, including the panel lights, are working correctly. Before I made it home the lights did this about six more times. Anybody else have this problem. PS There are no mods to the bike its stock.

there are quick release connections by the right side mid fairing just under the air duct. check to see if their wet or not fully connected..if no problem there, check fuses.

Thanks for the tip. I just now had a chance to check the connector. That was my problem. The black wire in the connector shorted out for some reason and slightly melted the connector. I do not know why it shorted out though. Any ideas?
