Lowering Link question...

i purchased a vortex lowering link for my 06 r1 but the package says 04-05.. will this fit for the '06 as well? i'm just gonna drop my bike an inch and if its not enough i'm gonna have my seat shaved.

yea its same. only differnce in 04 to 06 is 06 has longer swingarm by like 20mm. all suspension stuff is same.

i would not shave the seat. just do the lowering thru the link and forks. i shaved my seat on the previous bike (04 f4i) and regretted it every day after. diabloo-->

not much room to shave on newer models. plus there not comfortable at all. im not fan of shaving seat either..but you gotta do what you gotta do!
