Brake lights

I need help bad I have a 06 R1 and i've taken off my factory rearsets and i've replaced them with cyclecats. After a summer of riding everyday my rearset has faded and im sending them back to be reanodized(free of course). I wanted to ride with my stock rearsets. The problem is: After unhooking the cyclecats and hooking up the stock my brake light,horn and blinkers wont work. What could i have done wrong? 1. i hooked the rear brake switch up 2. I've tired the wires both direction and still no lights My question is : Is there away to have a rear brake light without hookin up the rear brake switch. If i've read the manual correctly it's only activated by the rear brake pedal. PLEASE HELP ME I DONT WANT TO RIDE ONTHE STREET WITH NO BRAKE LIGHTS OR BLINKERS!!!!!!

with all your tinkering I bet you blew a fuse, as to the brake light switch you dont have to run it, Your front brakes will activate it, i dont have a rear brake switch on my 02 or 04.
