I dumped mine in a undeveloped neighborhood yesterday. I hadnt got to ride it much at all and I had just put on new tires and grooved them so I figured I would throw the helmet on and scrub them in a little. Well I wasnt using my brain as I should have been and locked up the front and went down hard. My right knee is swollen the size of a muffin and my back is bruised. I'm one that always has on my gear. I didnt this time except for my helmet, I had on jeans and two long sleeve shirts and a fleece jacket. The fleece jacket is done. I just feel so stupid to have done what I did. I had to order new bars, twist throttle, and MC cap, and rear fender. So my little ride to cure me until my trackday next weekend costed me $300 bones and a swollen knee and back. JUST PLAIN STUPID!!!! ME:boom

heres a good reason to wear your gear even if you are just "cruising" as I told myself when I got on the Supermoto bike and did this http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l259/ChainReactionR1/IMAGE_00254.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l259/ChainReactionR1/NewImage.jpg

Ouch!!!!!! tell me about it...LOL...I just noticed in the second pic which is of my back. The really obvious shape of the red is the imprint of me sliding backwards into the curb.:scared

Hold please Geez, I know how you feel, accidents always seem to happen when you least expect it or aren't prepared. Hope you heal up fast. Same thing happened to me, I was day dreaming last week while riding in the woods with Chad and now I'm hobbling around with an ankle thats still swollen like a football.:dundun: :dundun:
