Help with my oil pan... please?

Ok, so about 3 months ago while it was still riding season I changed my oil and over tightened my oil drain bolt, thus, stripping the threading inside the pan. I found a member on here who had an oil pan for me and bought it. Here's the problem.... I replaced the pan, gasket and tightened everything down, but I cannot get it to stop dripping oil! It's beginning to frustrate me because I've replaced the gasket twice now thinking I overtightened it or broke the gasket but nope. I called the service manager at my dealership and he said to make sure and put everything together completely dry. As far as I know I have done that and it still leaks. Any suggestions, tips or words of advice? I know I can take it to the dealership if all else fails, but thats way overpriced and I consider myself to be fairly proficient with tools and such. I ordered a new gasket and an o-ring and am going to try that one more time, but I'm ready to pull my hair out if it doesnt work. Thanks in advance, trozeboom

where is it leaking? possible its not pan?? what i do is clean both surfaces with razor blade and carb cleaner. i use silicon on gasket and put it on oil pan. flip oil pan over on something flat and clean(glass works best) and put something with weight on it till silicon dries on gasket sealing it to pan. once its done, use some wheel bearing grease on gasket to help it seal to motor. tighten everthing down evenly. that way pan pulls up even to motor. good luck with it. plus with gasket silicon'd to pan and grease on one side..if you need to take it off again... grease will let it come right off without any problems or tearing of gasket.
