I have an 03 R1 and it sounds like something is knocking at very low speeds. Its very very slight and almost makes me think I dont hear it. Would like to get some suggestions of what it might be so I can see if my friends who work on bikes can fix it or if its a trip to the shop for me. The 2nd question is I want to learn to wheelie and some people are saying things about sprockets. Ive done some research and its like some are for the top end and others for other things. I love the way my bike handles already and its hella quick so not really looking to go toooo much faster. Any suggestions.

Could be the exup valve, i hear it at around 4000rpm, makes a noisie like ticking on a window. Anyway r1's tick a bit dont worry. Don't change your sprockets, you have torque enough to pull a wheely in first and second gear, start by giving that trottle a quick twist in first en see what happens. Get used to the bike comming up and you'll be making highway wheelies in no time.
