2007 brakes

What are the details of the new front brake operation ? One pad across 2 pistons and 1 small pad on the 3rd according to the spec sheets. Do they activate simultaneously, or are they progressive. If not progressive, why not 3 individual pads or one big one ?

Shit that sounds expensive as hell to replace with race pads.

they act together, its not one pad , because one pad and 3 pistons tends to warp pads, not 3 pads im guessing because of cost

According to "Cycle World" it is a four bad design. Doesn't state the configuration and my bike is in the shop (security system installation) or I would go look for you.
