Low priced SM wheels for YZducatiwv 01-20-2007, 04:14 PM What is the lowest price SM wheels that you can buy to convert my 03 Yz450 to an SM....What else will be needed? Gawarrior 01-20-2007, 05:25 PM Larry, generally they are in the 1200-1400 range for some wheels. check out some here.

Now, you can also get some hoops laced up to your stock hubs for under 1000 bucks. but if you want to keep the dirt wheels then you don't want to do that.
here are some as well.

I would jump all over whatever this guy has available actually if I were you. Unless you just want new wheels then used is your best bet. FOZZ 01-20-2007, 09:20 PM Glad to hear you converting the Yamaha Larry 8)
Chads right - Joe at Motostrano matched or beat any deal ive thrown at him.. There is also a 5% off from SMJ members..
Ebay is also a great place to shop for wheels.. Super_Dave_344 01-21-2007, 12:00 AM hey will the parts from that guys 03 YZ450 fit my 04 wr?? im looking at the M4 exhaust, rotor & relocator bracket, and the steal ft line. I sent him a PM telling him i was interested but wanted to make sure what parts fit my bike.
Will the 320 make much differance while still using the stock MC and caliper? Id likeot swap it out later & have a lead on a motomaster caliper just checking prices and fitment.

All 03'YZ parts will fit the 04'WR :) . The 320mm rotor has a big difference in stopping power and reliability over the stock dirt bike rotor. The stock rotor will over heat - crack with hard street use. 320 rotor - stock caliper - steel braided line & stock master is a good set up on the street. Gawarrior 01-21-2007, 08:30 AM Dave, you can use the stock mc and caliper. It will work fine until you can upgrade. Super_Dave_344 01-21-2007, 11:03 AM cool thanks for the info guys. Super_Dave_344 01-21-2007, 11:23 AM hey i just got off the phone with the guy and i bought the full M4 exhaust,320mm rotor & relocator bracket and the steal front brake line.

Yeah, I dunno. Just don't have much of a desire to ride street anymore. :dunno Even if it means I don't ride as much as I used to. :dunno Gawarrior 01-22-2007, 09:17 PM Yeah, I dunno. why wouldn't you want to ride street?? I hear that all the time and just don't understand it. I wouldn't ever want to stop riding street. Riding a bike to work or heck anywhere is awesome! Just because you are on a bike doesn't mean it has to automatically be unsafe or dangerous.. fjorn 01-22-2007, 10:05 PM why wouldn't you want to ride street?? Not really a matter of safety so much as it is due to other reasons Chad. Gawarrior 01-23-2007, 07:17 AM Not really a matter of safety so much as it is due to other reasons Chad.

honestly, if you are thinking about a fo fiddy, why don't you just give him the 250 and you get a new 450. the 250 four strokes are easier to ride than a 125 two stroke. plus you get a new bike....:sing: needs to be a Yamaha though, lol fjorn 01-23-2007, 10:26 AM honestly, if you are thinking about a fo fiddy, why don't you just give him the 250 and you get a new 450. the 250 four strokes are easier to ride than a 125 two stroke. plus you get a new bike....:sing: needs to be a Yamaha though, lol
:lol That's what I was thinking with the 250F. Let him ride that, I get a new 450 and we have fun :riding together. Not to mention the 450 would be more suited to my weight. :lol :lol
