Hi, I have R1 2005. Couple of days ago I changed the backframe for another one (was broken). All cables and wires I (for 99% sure) put on the right place. The bike than started fine, I took it for a short ride and everything was ok. Than I turned the engine off. When I wanted to start it again, it couldn't. All instruments and procedure worked, but when I pushed a starter button, it made a strengh sound and didn't start. All instruments on board was reseting and start again. I tought it could be a battery, but it seems ok. Than we started it (friend "kick my ass") and after while torques goes down, and than instruments turned off and engine is still going a while, than turn off too. Now when I move my key into ON position, on the right display appears '46'. Does anybody know, what this error (46) means? Where can be a problem?

It might be that 1% that gets ya. In the Service Manual for United States models, trouble code 46 means that there's something wrong with the power supply reaching important electrical components that have to do with the fuel injection system and ECU. Basically, the manual advises to double check all electrical connections to see if something either is plugged in to the wrong component or if a connector isn't fully connected, resulting in a poor or failed connection. Also says to inspect the voltage regulator/rectifier. Myself, if the bike was OK before the subframe got bent and now it's suddenly acting-up after you finished this repair work, I'd have to say it's a safe bet that something ain't put back together right, with the possibility that a component got damaged in the wreck that you haven't addressed, yet.

Thanks, It looks like exactly how you say, incorrect power to ECU, because injection LED is turned on. ;-) Thank you very much. And yes, Rossi mode is great, but I think you wouldn't have it too. :-) :-)

And no component was damaged. Only the subframe..... I'll check all connections again. Don't you know, which cable it could be? (how it looks like)

Afraid I don't, my man. I'd just double check every connection and basically inspect every item and step of the job that was just done. A Service Manual is handy.

I have downloaded service manual. Where did you find this error 46 in the manual? I can't find it there....
