Power Commander IIIusb Maps.

Anyone know of any maps available for the PC3usb for the 07 R1? Also, are there any maps from the 06 R1 that would work well with it? I have a pair of slip on Two Bros and I'm not too sure which map to use with them.

As of right now, there are not too many of them. But I would just put on the one for the Graves Slip-Ons. They have more maps for the Euro model, but they do have a few for the US, clicky here for the page: http://powercommander.com/426-411.aspx I have the A & R Baffle kit and I am using the Graves as well, and its getting a real good burn. I got the graves map loaded, but it seems to be a bit smoky, like it's running too rich or something. Hard to get the bike dynoed since it has carbon pipes on it and it will void the warranty on them and possibly burn out the carbon on the pipes.

I have the two bros on my 07 and the graves map is way too rich. I am using the map for stock exhausts until I can get it mapped this week. Map for stock exhausts works OK. Lots better than the graves anyway.

any new maps out, I have 1 with full graves ignition mod smogblock off plates and of course a powercommander, but looking to try other maps. And allso if some 1 can tell me how to post my map on here I will post it.

There are indeed new maps available ! Thankfully their names indicate whether O2 sensor is used or not. I have a Euro model ................. Interesting though that only the Graves use the ignition module to retard the timing between 2000 - 3250 RPM and 20-80% throttle. I guess to make up for the missing EXUP ? Anybody else use the PC III and ignition module, or have maps for Akra or any other makes ?

I'm about to install a GYTR air filter and Akrapovic Evo 2 Full Titanium System with a power commander this weekend. I saw the full Akrapovic map on the power commander website. Would that one work best or does anybody else already have a map?

Hi guys ok im very new at this... so that being said... I was thinking that there was just a chip or something to remove the 300km/h block... i didnt think that doing exhaust mods and fitlers would need a re-map of the fuel injection system?.. ive been trying to download the maps that guys post but for soem reason i need a program or something to open them?.. could someone email me one just so I can have a look at what it is?.. I was thinking that the programers was just a plug in n run thing but from what i have been reading there seems to be some tuning to do?.. for this year on my 07 I will have the A&R exhaust mod a k&n filter I was thinking a programer possibly the Graves stacks and gear down the front sprocket one. so if someone could help me out with this id appreciate it..lol

Graves does not mave stacks for the 07 R1, I don't think. I think the bike will run fine with the mods you mentioned. minus the stacks whithout reprogramming with a pcIII or a fastcard. A pcIII or a fastcard and a custom map would optimize the performance though.

After installation of the Evo 2 Full exhaust and power commander, I got engine code 17. I removed the EXUP system but did'nt know what to do with the plug. Any ideas how to fix this?

Sweet I'll do that. It runs better though. Mid and high range power is good. Low range wasn't as good though.

You can run the bike with EXUP disconnected but you'll have to live with the Code 17 which means EXUP is disconnected. I have EVO Full but didn't disconnect the EXUP, only O2

With any full aftermarket full system you have to disconnect the O2 sensor. Their is a connection you have to disconnect under the gas tank. That line runs to the O2 sensor. You can pull the line through or cut it. I cut it and just re-connected it to make it easier. Just remeber to leave your EXUP system connected and only remove the cables.:thumbup

I bought the PCIII USB and a K&N and my Y-pipe should be here soon. wondering if i can just run the map for the graves slip on since it cuts the cat out of the picture as well.....??? anyone running this app

yea iv got a question for you vets of the powercommander....iv got the akra carbon slip-ons with the cat elim. y-pipe and im gonna order the PClll and either the bmc or k&N filter. The only map from powercommander.com that matched was a euro model will that work on my bike which is a cali model? QUESTION! '05 with A&R race baffles, gutted cat and pcIII...what do you think would be the best map for it? i dont have an air filter yet and couldnt find any maps without an aftermarket airfilter in it. would it make a difference if i loaded one up that included an air filter even though i dont have one? also, would I have to worry about unplugging my O2 sensor as well? if so any map for that, or is it taken into account by the pcIII when running the map in your bike? thanks much

Well, while we're on the subject, I just installed a Pipercross air filter, and it killed the midrange. I've added like 4% more fuel in low and mid-third of RPM band via buttons on PCIIIUSB, but it hasn't really helped. I'm using the map from the Power Commander website for Termignoni Half System. It doesn't specify whether the O2 sensor should be connected or disconnected. Here's my setup: -Pipercross Foam Filter -Akrapovic Y-Pipe -Termignoni TI Cans -O2 Sensor disconnected Anyone have a custom map that might help fill the huge hole opened up in my midrange by the Pipercross filter? I'm willing to try anyone's custom map - it doesn't have to be exactly the same system. Thanks, John

i agree , but at some places i have seen $400-450 for a full custom. those using tuning link i have found do it cheaper, but i do not think you get as good a tune that way. it is just quicker and easier using the link. but for the weekend rider or part time rider the tuning link tune will suffice . if they tune on a inertia only type dyno i wouldn't pay more than 200 for sure. unless they can load control , your tune will never give you the full potential using the inertia only dyne.

Does anyone know what would cause my bike to run rich and back fire on decleration. I have pc w/ ignition module and smog plates installed. I currently have the graves map on at the moment. Everytime I come off of a ride I have to leave my riding jacket in the garage b/c it smells like straight gas.

FYI...that gray wire ISN'T a power wire. It's a throttle body position senser wire. suprised it's running fine. But i'd get that taken care of ASAP. you can buy wire tap connectors from radio shack. But I'm not sure what gage the wires are that have to be tapped(18-22 gage...ect). I'm installing mine in a few days, so I'm going to have to call the support page to get the proper gage info. on the wires so I don't mess up my wire harness.

I already fix it. My throttle position was at 100. The kit had everything I needed to snip the wire. Its working great now.

Didn't think the O2 sensor being disconnected on your bike would matter that much, but the map was a tad bit rich since mine is still connected. I appreaciate you posting bro, thanks for sharing.

OK guys, I?m a newb at this so after a few sarcastic remarks I just need to make sure I understand this correctly. I have Full Akra, BMC, Smog Plates, PCIII USB, and HUB, just installed the ignition module, have a custom tune from FUEL MOTO (it?s OK) :sleepy and I should ditch the O2 sensor because it?s probably screwing with my map anyway. Just want to make sure before I rip it out and the lights start going off. Side bar-removed the servo and installed the ESRM from Dynojet worked for awhile and now throwing the code, contacted tech support no replies any advice.

Seems we should ask Sticky to be able to load our available maps on this site somewhere.
