Clutch and chain?

Ok my bike is a 2003 R1 I got it used so the condition of the bike is ok, but I want to know when do I have to change the clutch and the sprocket and chain. thanks

when they go bad............................seriously tho dont fix what aint broke, unless u got the mod fever

do you need spec's for the chain/sprocket wear? If you do I can post up what the service manual says. . .generally speaking you should know if the chain/sprocket need replaced based on excessive noise. . .I can always tell when someone needs to replace the chain/sprockets when they drive by me. . .sounds terrible!!! Clutch wear is gonna depend on how you drive the bike and using the right oil (ALWAYS use motorcylce oil vs. car oil. . .or at least use car oil without the anti-friction additives. . .you will ruin the clutch plates very quickly if you use oil with anti-friction additives).
