Has anyone degreed there cams? What was the gain if any? Aftermarket cams? What you guys thing?

I have the Y.E.C. high lift cams in my '06 and the difference is extremely evident. Especially past 10k.

degreeing cams wont always net you more top HP. you can set cams to give you more midrange, or more topend, or whatever. really its up to your package and what you plan on doing. i wouldnt spend money on new cams...been there done that.. waste of $$. you will gain more HP cheaper other ways.. like milling head, or using thinner gasket or port and polish it. Read in Mech section, there are 2 great threads on porting and headwork as well as degreeing cams info. yes you can gain HP with cams or degreeing them, but $$ you spend for HP..isnt that much.. cams are good for about 2-4 HP for $1000 or so.
