öhlins steering damper help [Archive]

I've been searching around, mostly on eBay, and found that öhlins steering dampers is damn cheap if i order from germany (i live in norway)! But the ones I've found is for RN01 and RN04 model R1s.. As i understand the 2002 R1 is RN09? But in the text, they say that RN01 and RN04 dampers fit the RN09 ? Can anyone confirm this? Anyone tried it? Do i have to do any modifications to the bike or mounting bracket? The prices I've seen from shops around are about 500$!! And from eBay.de i can get them from 150Euros and up.. Used though... Anyhelp will do!! Thanks, R1-newbie who needs help
