need some help...............

same here, thought it was that cover too but it wasn't. gonna look at the starter

another member had the same thing and from what I saw, it's probably just an o-ring on the starter motor

mine leaked after little whack on it. had mustang rearend in my truck tied down next to bike and it barely touched that cover. its really lightweight. dont know why one would cracked for no reason. did you have it off or tighten down bolts recently?

oh man that sucks hope you get her up and goin easily order the part today, over night part $3.58 over night $30 ohhh well..... i will be spraying some copper spray sealant ill take some pics as i go through with it.

well i replaced the starter cover gasket and so far so good. cranked the motor for about a min, off, on again a min later for about 30 sec and still no leak. lets see tomorrow morning.

Check the allen plug in the stator cover.

Check the allen plug in the stator cover. the bike is already fixed. that was checked and so the 3 torx too. but thanks for your imput anyways, is always good to have that on a check.:thumbup
