South East Squadron R1-016

Ok here is the South East members as I can see it so far.... I will try and keep it simple this time and start things off by doing the Squadron Captain, Lt. and Sgt... I will volunteer to do it if the majority so far is down with it...! States include.. Stealing from no.6 with the subdued idea, I'd like to also suggest that we have a patch that could be subdued with Red, Blue or Silver. Just a thought.

I'm for Spidey as CO. The main thing I would like to see from this is group rides. I have had a blast going to Orlando and riding with Solidus. Maybe Jacksonville or somewhere central to everyone. He he, we even get Bike Week in Daytona!!!

We do have squadrons, we created them for the fun of it, we will most likely ride together and have parties etc etc. Also we will be able to recognize a fellow forum member at large bike events, Bikeweek, Biketoberfest, Sturgis, Laughlin and the like. Joining is purely voluntary, if you're interested (AOL) IM me or SpidermanSS at O1Tankman (me) or SpydrmanSS (guess who). The different squadrons will have patches or stickers for their jackets/bikes so that other squadron members can identify them. I hope to see you join, but if not it's all good.

It's great to see so many people interested and having fun with this. Wouldn't it be cool to be on vacation with your 1 someplace, and recognizing a forum member from a long way off because of his squadron insignia?

updated the first list again...! to reflect everyone involved... after things are finalized we will come up with our won criteria..etc.. for new prospects.. and a amount of South east members to approve for initiation...lol

OK yall know im in, Spidey for president, captain, leader, whatever its going to be called. :lol As for a symbol i like the spider #1 then #2 would be the cottonmouth. We can figure out a name once we get a symbol. I dont want to rush it I want everything to come out real nice. So lets do it one step at a time.

I think we have three or four Jax guys in the Squadron. That's outstanding. R1 Fanatic, we'll let you in, don't worry. Damn, were up to 24 people already, 016 rules! I think we've got Spidey as CO, but we need a couple people to step up as Lt and Sgt. I would be honored and I would love to do it but I currently reside in Ohio because of school, so I think it would be kinda tough for me to be the Lt or Sgt for a Southeast Squadron. The west squadron has the dragon so no can do...! :no We kicked around the Spider design I drew up a little before the re-alignment, with names like Spider Squadron or Venom Squadron. Let's do this we got alot of members now and it looks that I have been elected C/O = Commanding Officer . Let's have a couple volunteers for Lt. and a Sgt...... Then before everyone spends alot of time with the crayons drawing stuff up we can all vote on a Symbol and a name, once that is finalized we will submit drawings and then vote on that...! R6rider, I don't see why not, but we'll have to get everybodies ok on it. I think it'd be good to have an experienced Forum member as the Lt and a relative newbie as the Sgt, so the Lt can teach the Sgt (boy, that's a switch, a Lt teaching an NCO). 016 ROCKS! OK, I want to ask everybody this question. Does anybody have a problem with Venom Squadron and the spider as our insignia? I think everybody else was planning on us using that one, we might be able to go with a gator or a snake (if we use the snake we could even keep the venom moniker) but I think the typical stuff (dragons, jolly rogers, wolfs, etc etc) is probably going to be taken. 016 rocks!

016 is our squadron's numerical designator, we are R1-016. Until we get a name (venom maybe?) I have to say 016. Sooooooo 016 Rocks!

As long as it is a final thing i have no problem doing it because i want atleast one more tattoo. I can not decide what to get and that is a cool looking badge so i think it would be what i got. it kicks a$$ and then i could go :finger to all the people that dont think this is a good idea or anything. We just need to rember that we are all one big group just in smaller units so dont have a fight over squadrons just have rivals like navy and marines

Ok... we got 34 members now...! We need all your name and logo ideas posted together .... Post them on this thread and I will write them all down and put then in a new thread for us to vote on..... Here is mine: Venom - Spider after this is decided we can vote on the character and stuff..... this will keep everyone from drawing examples for nothing..... majority vote wins...! Also who wants to be down for a Lt. and a Sgt. one will need to keep our bank account for the small member dues and keep the money when we get t-shirts, patches, stickers etc... I will present all that later.... Just take one thing at a time......! Things look great for our Squadron...! :D

I think ya'll know my vote but I'll repost them to make it easy to tally them up. Name: Venom Patch design: Spider Lt.: Shadow One Sgt: R6rider expressed an interest. It might be a good idea, he's kind of a new guy, he could learn the rope under Shadow and Spidey's guidance, I mean, we can't expect them to do it forever. For those of you who are interested, you're more than welcome to help out if you want, you don't need to have an "official" position to be an active contributing member of the squadron.

i've been trying to come up with some names that would reflect the south....how about the "livermush squadron"?....lol. what about "cottonmouth squadron" with a snake. or we could go a little mad max and be the road warriors.

I think we need to get the ball rolling with ideas i have to say i like venom as the name and spiderman as co so there is my vote on that so im just wating on the poll to make everything offical but spiderman is going to post the poll i think since he is the co

just an idea, but i think we need some color options on the logo. i know i am personally trying to keep the colors to a minimum on my bike.....black, silver and that little splash of red on the r1 sticker. maybe all black and gray. just an idea.

Those colors would be fine + extra colors = $$$ if your having them made professionaly... I think the emblem should be in different colors to match the different colors of our bikes but the the logo should be the same.I also would like to keep the colors to a minimum, and it wouldn't be fair to have the sticker match one color in particular. This is just my opinion.....

ok I just got back from the work...... We took votes for C/O for a few days and members got more and more each day... I haven't seen one person object since we started voting but there is no way to keep doing it over and over again each time I add members to the list, so I am going to assume the role of C/O and get this party started..!. We started with 13 and now are at 34..... Most everyone has sent there info to me for contact purposes but there is still 9 that have not sent it in........ I am gonna send Swedie a PM and see if he can set up a "Squadrons" section on the forum with areas for posting for each squadron. In the mean time we have these things still open...... Lt. and Sgt. assignments - We have had several nominations for Shadow One for Lt.... if anyone wants to oppose Shadow One for that position speak up soon so we can have a vote for it... If reference to Sgt... we have Quasimojo, R6rider, DogBoneR1 and 02'-LS-R1, we can have a run off on that and I will set it up tonight. After this is decided I will list all the names and mascot variations that were posted and we will vote on them all in another thread so it can be tracked better..... I am going to send the 9 people who haven't sent over there info an email from the forum to get it so I can email everyone, each time we put something up for vote....... since i do not put my 2 cents in I think I will now since i am part of an awesome club. I love the spider logo but instead of the VENOM on the top why not WIDOWMAKER? that is tuff sounding and awesome to throw out in conversation at the local BAR! Sent you an e-mail Spidey! Just wanted to stick my 2 cents in about the logo, I am not sure who did the one below. I think that I might prefer a viper to the spider, but kinda hard to know without an example. If the spider is used, please consider a different color combo. I am well aware of the extra color = extra $, but I think we can do it with 3 colors. Perhaps black, silver, and Yam blue. Or black, silver, and Yam Red.

That is just an example that was drawn up.... Out squadron has about 35 more members now than it did..lol..... So everything is gonna get voted on..! I will start a thread poll Friday in the A.M. and let things be decided that way by member vote.... Colors were for illustration purposes only.. for the stickers I have full color resources that will be stunning....! patches or shirt would need to be in accordance with the place that we decide the make thems specs....
