2001 r1 do I have a brembo front brake??pushover 02-19-2007, 11:12 AM I bought the bike with 2000 miles on it so I wouldnt think it has a brembo front brake. Looking at the rear brake it does have a brembo emblem. I would like to know how I can tell if its just the stock front brake setup or do I have the brembos. I want to get a set of the Pazzo levers and just want to make sure i dont need the brembo levers instead thanks. Sabian 02-19-2007, 12:13 PM Brembo makes the master brake cylindar for the rear brake and on the older models, it states that on the side. I beleive the front master brake cylindar is also brembo but dont' hold me to it. Now with that said...no it's not the aftermarket Brembo brakes that cost a damn fortune. You have stock rear and front brakes, GAURNTEED. If you had Brembo front brakes, the calipers would probably be gold, and say BREMBO in red lettering on them. pushover 02-19-2007, 10:12 PM thats what i figured thanks again just didnt want to buy the levers and then have to return.
