:moto: Another question for my fellow 1ners, Was wondering what manufactor makes the best chain and sprocket kits for the buck? Im looking to buy a kit for my 99 as its due for them but I dont know who to buy and what teething I should go with??:dunno Thanks in advance. :bow -Canman

:secret:Honestly only been riding for a total of 7 or 8 months this is my first bike.Its seems just fine with what it is now but I just didnt know if there was any beni's from changing the chain and sprocket set up.:dunno So Im guessing since Im fine with it now I should probably just buy a stock chain and sprock kit but from a leading manufactor.? dunno:2bitchsla all I know is that its time to change em out.:thumbup

if your going to get a new chain and sprocket setup get at -1/+1or2 I had that on my 99 and loved it thats 15/44or45 in case u need to know motomummy.com is definetly the place to go corey will answer any questions u have:fact

Thanks Dude...I found a couple threads...but the gist of it....
More people seem to have problems (Teeth Failure, Premature wearing) on Vortex then others.

i didn't say what brand to use as it's only my opinion, i want guys to do there own research on stuff as it gives you a greater spread of knowlege, but seeing as the searches have been done i recommend and use renthal sprockets and did erv series chains..... but afam sprockets are also worthy along with a couple of others.:thumbup
