No lights or fault codes comes up,Zeb at Graves said there would be no problems and he was right txeric77 03-01-2007, 08:04 PM i have it all and spent 4hrs on the dyno now the monster has 148bwhp at 161mph did not remove the o2 NycPowerHitter 03-01-2007, 08:07 PM 148 rear wheel hp??? with all those mods? are you upset??? txeric77 03-01-2007, 08:14 PM look you can read what ya want but all that 190bwhp is bullshit put it on a true dyno and see what happens txeric77 03-01-2007, 08:18 PM So let me know what it should have, then maybe i can photoshop it so i can be cool, but i promise unless you do engine work your not going to get much more, now horsepower to the crank is a diffrent story NycPowerHitter 03-01-2007, 08:26 PM no offense homie! i was just saying that everyone is saying that the 07 motor has 182 at the crank and different sites have it dyno at 156-159. you should never lose mote then 20 hp from crank to rear wheel. but i do agree a true dyno would bust alot of peoples bubbles.. txeric77 03-01-2007, 08:35 PM I know, im not trying to be a ass I just thank its funny when people belive they have 182 bwhp, I know 4 a fact that it dosnt any 1 can put a # on some paper all i know is it was a monster b4 and now its crazzzy insane, but I could be wrong who knows NycPowerHitter 03-01-2007, 08:39 PM I Know, I Had An 01 Gixxer 1000 After My 2000 R1 , When I Dynoed It I Could Believe It Only Had 145.8 Rwhp On Ivans Dyno, But The Trueth Hurts...lol txeric77 03-01-2007, 08:46 PM r you in houston stan1 03-02-2007, 05:36 AM look you can read what ya want but all that 190bwhp is bullshit put it on a true dyno and see what happens
+1 Dyno Jet dyno reads higher... Good numbers.... What was # before?
Stan txeric77 03-02-2007, 08:26 AM not sure i dont have the read out with me but i will get back with it SFR1rider 03-02-2007, 09:26 AM well I am picking up mine from the tuners today with the graves, pcIII and ignition mod. I will attach the dyno print out when I get it so we can all see. I know that my 04 when I had it on the dyno in Seattle it was stock with 143rwhp. My expectations are little bit higher than 148 but will be more than happy with what ever it is. For now!!!
What is funny is how the gravesport website says that it will be close to 170 so thats why it seems a little weird to only have 148. Ill let you know before the days out hopefully. txeric77 03-02-2007, 09:36 AM i know but it dosnt say bwhp txeric77 03-02-2007, 09:41 AM 2 be honest i dont care all that much about having more then 148, all that does is hurt you in the corners SFR1rider 03-02-2007, 01:48 PM 2 be honest i dont care all that much about having more then 148, all that does is hurt you in the corners
So you mean to tell me that the MOTO GP bikes with 200+ HP are hurting in the corners???? Sounds like someone needs some practice or take the training wheels off.
:chair: txeric77 03-02-2007, 05:46 PM lol ok i see you know what your talking i didnt know i was talking to a pro that takes the cnrs with 200bwp Vigi375 03-02-2007, 08:51 PM lol ok i see you know what your talking i didnt know i was talking to a pro that takes the cnrs with 200bwp
I dont know where you're coming from, but them Moto GP guys seem to be working it pretty good with that much HP in the corners.:secret: Besides who would want to run a stock bike on the track anyways? Especially them fellas. Evaluate on why more than 148 is to much for the corners, I would like to know. txeric77 03-02-2007, 09:57 PM never said i was a moto gp guy i was talking about myself txeric77 03-02-2007, 10:03 PM Look i have been riding for fun 4 a while, and new to the track, what i said on here is just what i thank for my self im still learning. hew2001 03-03-2007, 09:25 PM I've done a graves full w/PCIII. The O2 sensor is connected since there was a bung for it. I'm not sure if I should disconnect it or leave it. What do you guys recommend? 02YZF-R1 03-04-2007, 11:16 PM one of the reasons the graves full system as well as other full systems have the O2 fitting is so that the tuners and racers can use it to custom map on the dyno. Using that fitting is more accurate than sticking a probe into the tailpipe.
If using the pc3 with a different map, you probably don't want to use the stock O2 sensor, because if you do, the ECU will make changes to your custom map depending on the O2 reading.
I removed mine per my tuner's instructions, and a FI light has not gone on yet. SFR1rider 03-23-2007, 02:56 PM Well, I have my numbers and they were better than when I brought it in to them.
Stock HP/TQ: 149.8 / 72.8
New HP/TQ: 157.8 / 76.2
Those numbers are with the Graves exhaust and the PCIII USB. I had the ignition module installed and was to believe that they were going to map with that as well but they didnt. So, I have to go back again and let them mess with it. This time I will have a BMC filter so I am looking at possibly another 2-3hp gain. I will let you know when I get it back. ssauer2004 03-23-2007, 07:16 PM How many miles on the bike? What type of break-in procedure did you use? SFR1rider 03-24-2007, 03:52 PM I have over 2000 mi on the bike. It was on the dyno with 1800 mi on it. It is nice besides the low idle/cut-off(similar to the TPS issue from previous years though) and the damn 2nd gear 5500rpm.
The break in was never the same. I didnt keep it under 6K the whole time. There was a lot of variation in the whole rpm range. | |
