Chain Tightening and Loosening

I bought this bike theft recovery and the chain has set up a while on it. However when you roll it or ride it the chain loosens then gets super tight and then loosens again. I ordered a new chain thinking hopefully its just a couple of frozen links binding it as it goes over the sprocket. Any ideas out there? If sprayed it down with wd and lubed it up seems to help a bit.

If the chain is that knackered you should fit new sprockets too.

Thanks yea I order sprockets as well. Any possibility it could be a bent drive shaft? It has no problems shifting etc... doesnt jump out of gear or any other issues.

I wouldnt think it was the shaft ,by the sounds of it, it is prob just where the bike has been left or stored for a while without any lube on the chain. They will dry up and that is when you get tight spots. New chain and sprockets should cure it for you....:thumbup

If its been sitting that long, Id suggest replacing your cushes too. Theyre all of about 4.00 each.
