Buying a 02 R1

Hi everyone, I am a new member, I currently ride a Honda NSR250 but it's sold pending payment. I'm looking at buying an 02 R1. If there something I should look out for when buying a 02 R1. I like the shape and the fact that it is EFI thats steering me towards a 02 model. My budget is limited and I am already strenching to be able to buy the R1. I am 165cm so I will be struggling to touch the ground on the bike lol. I also want to know about lowering a bike so I can at least have half of both feet on the ground if possible. excellent bike. but if your not careful and dont respect it, it will mess u up real bad...the bike is pretty much perfect tho

I am very careful when I ride, the R1 is going to be a weekend toy. I saw a really well priced 03 model with the red flames. But I prefer the silver/black combo
