This thing is a bitch to remove. Those two little screws are on there really tight. I cant get them off. The screws are starting to strip but I can still get a little bite on them with a phillips head. Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you get those things off? BTW, I am removing this to install the Fuel Pressure Booster to the Fuel Pressure Regulator as part of installation of the Graves Slide Stops. Also, does this Fuel Pressure Booster go into the side of the Fuel Pressure Regulator that is screwed onto the fuel rail?
If you can help me get this fu(ker off I will pay you back in some way. I promise :lol

If the phillips head is slightly stripping then try hammering in a torx bit and a impact driver should get the little bu@@ers out.
good luck:thumbup

Well, I got those litle fu(kers out last night with a pair of vice grips clamped on them with the force equal to the grip of a catholic preist holding onto a 6yr old alter boy's naughty place. Tried everything else that everyone was suggesting with no luck. I'd like to take this opportunity to give a big FU(K YOU!! to the engineers at Yamaha for putting those damn screws on there so damn tight. Was it really necessary? :dunno :lol

The rest of the job went OK. Installing the slide stops into the throttle bodies was very easy. Just needed an S-Shaped screw driver to get like two of the screws out that wouldnt allow clearance for a regualr screwdriver.
But removing the FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator) was a bitch. I tried with the S-Shaped screw driver but the screws started to strip. I ended up having to take the fuel rail completely off, take it over to my workbench and clamp some vice grips on those two little screws and they came out. You will most likely have to buy new screws..I did. There will be alot of screws when you done removing that fuel rail..so just keep track of where everything goes. I should have taken a picture or something. Good Luck. :thumbup
BTW I did the V-Stacks and AIS Plugs at the same time.
