you shouldnt always use the dyno as a compairison to other bikes or dynos as they all vary so greatly, just use it as a tool to find gains in tuning your own bike txeric77 03-11-2007, 10:43 AM true, RUFFSTUFF 03-12-2007, 05:22 AM It's not conservative... it's a Factory Pro dyno (which IMO, is much better), not a DynoJet dyno which is more popular (read: cheaper). The EC997a measures torque and calculates hp. The DynoJet250 measures torque, calculates hp and throws in a fudge factor to account for drivetrain losses, so you get a higher reading. You pay money for a high reading, DynoJet delivers. I only use our EC997a at the shop.
