The instructions dont say to disconnect the negative terminal to put the ground wire on until after the other connections are made. In the past if im disconnecting ecu/computer terminals ive always disconnected power first. Does it matter either way?

All done...I just left it connected and then attatched ground afterwards.

its always a good idea to disconnect the battery on anything when your working on your vehicle
